The five Jyotirlingas in Maharashtra are Bhimashankar, Trimbakeshwar, Grishneshwar, Aundha Nagnath and Parli Vaijnath. These 5 jyotirlingas together are also known as Pancha Jyotirlingas. They are dedicated to Lord Shiva.
To cover all five jyotirlingas in Maharashtra, you can start your trip either from Mumbai or Pune. Both the cities are well connected by rail, road and air. It will take you four days to cover all the places.
There are approximately 230 steps to reach Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga and are not much steep.
Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga is 30 km from Aurangabad. You can also visit the very famous Ajanta Ellora caves and Bhadra Maruti temple. It is a 4 hour journey for which you can take private taxi from Aurangabad.
