I have a question as to how the effect of the malefic grahas change after the havan. For instance, my Mars, Mercury, Shani, and Sun are in Makara Rashi in the 7th house. That makes my Mars exalted (also it is yoga karaka) and Shani in its own sign also gets digbali. So for marriage, they can still bring obstacles and issues. but they can be great for professional life.

It makes sense to do Graha Shanti puja for prosperity in marriage, but how does it affect the work-life? I read somewhere that Graha Shanti makes the effects of malefic planets mild. That means it will reduce its effects in my profession.

Clarification on that would be highly appreciated.
